1. Introduction

Welcome to QA Audit and Alternate QA Academy ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, academy, simulations, and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Nature of Services (AI Disclaimer)

Our services utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) to analyze data and generate recommendations. You acknowledge that:

  • AI Output Accuracy: AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. It should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth for critical decisions.
  • Professional Judgment: The output is intended to assist, not replace, professional QA judgment. You utilize the recommendations at your own risk.

3. Educational Platform (Academy)

This platform includes a simulated environment designed for training purposes.

  • Educational Purpose: All tools, bugs, and scenarios presented in the simulator are fictional. Any resemblance to real-world vulnerabilities is coincidental.
  • User Conduct: You agree to use the platform responsibly. Attempting to compromise the platform infrastructure itself is prohibited.

4. Client-Side Tools (Chaos & Data)

Specific tools like the Chaos Engineering Assistant and Synthetic Data Factory are provided as client-side utilities.

  • Privacy: We do not store, process, or transmit any data entered into these specific tools. All generation happens locally in your browser.
  • Liability: You are responsible for how you use generated "nasty" data or chaos scenarios. We are not liable for any misuse.

5. User Content & Data

You retain all ownership rights to the data you input into the audit ("User Content").

  • License: You grant us a limited license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of generating the audit report and recommendations.
  • Confidentiality: We do not sell your data. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

6. Token Usage & Fair Use

Access to AI features consumes computational resources ("Tokens"). We reserve the right to limit or throttle usage to ensure fair access for all users or to prevent abuse.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of QA Audit and its licensors.

  • Copyright: The source code, algorithms, visual design, and content of this application are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Country and foreign countries.
  • No Copying: You generally agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without express written permission by us.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, reverse engineering, or attempting to derive the source code of the Service.
  • Scraping: Using any automated system, including without limitation "robots," "spiders," or "offline readers," to access the Service.
  • Harmful Acts: Uploading viruses or malicious code, or interfering with the integrity or performance of the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
